Aims and Scope

The International Journal of the Cardiovascular Academy (IJCVA) is an open access, scientific, double-blind peer-reviewed journal in the field of cardiology, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The Journal publishes quarterly in March, June, September and December in English.

IJCVA will publish original articles, review articles, case reports, letter to the editor and new techniques in cardiovascular research and disease therapy such as interventional cardiology, hypertension, cardiomyopathy, heart failure, arrhythmia and electrophysiology, acute and chronic coronary syndromes, peripheral arterial disease, congenital heart diseases , vascular biology, clinical pharmacology, valvular heart disease, pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular surgery.

Aims and Objectives:

♦ Raising public awareness of cardiovascular health and the advancement of quality standards to enhance patient care.
♦ Promote education and activities relating to preventing and treating cardiovascular disease through developing health knowledge and practice.
♦ Convening scientific meetings and educational programs on a regional and international basis.
♦ To publish newsletters, magazines, and journals on cardiovascular topics.
♦ Developing and maintaining an internal and external network, both nationally and internationally.
♦ Support and promote research in the field of cardiovascular diseases.
♦ To establish contacts and co-operations with national associations and societies and in other countries having objectives wholly or partly similar to those of our Association.

The editorial and publication processes of the journal are shaped in accordance with the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE)World Association of Medical Editors (WAME)Council of Science Editors (CSE)Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and National Information Standards Organization (NISO). The journal conforms with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing.

The International Journal of the Cardiovascular Academy (ICJVA) is indexed in Scopus, DOAJCNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure)EBSCO Central & Eastern European Academic SourceHinari, and ProQuest.

All manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s web page at ijcva.org. Instructions for authors, technical information, and other necessary forms can be accessed over this web page. Authors are responsible for all content of the manuscripts.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Author(s) and copyright owner(s) grant access to all users for the articles published in the International Journal of the Cardiovascular Academy as free of charge.
